...so the conversation goes after Project Room London...Jaybo "Hey Timid do you want to come to Berlin to shoot in a couple of weeks ?...." Timid "Yeah sure" ......I promptly forget about the conversation and I'm only reminded when Jaybo asks what time I wants to fly in....the following day...film turned out ok though...
Had a great time over there and even managed to fit in a day out with Kofie and El Mac and Marco Pho tagged along with mein host Jaybo
So here's how the story goes...we're minding our own business at the 10 exhibition launch..and we get approached by the curator for the FutureEverything festival in Manchester...did we want to be part of this year's festival and could we tell her now...as the whole thing kicks off in 6 weeks..um..Ok...like the look of the festival...let's get involved. As usual we ask for a huge wall..and we get one...at the Sharp Project....the rest is history as they say...
We streamed the whole thing live...which led to a certain amount of....
But all Agents were present....
The Ghostvillage Project was created over 3 days on the west coast of Scotland. 6 artists - Timid, Remi/Rough, System, Stormie Mills, Juice 126, Derm - were given free reign to paint in an abandoned 1970s village. Working together on huge collaborative walls and individually in hidden nooks and crannies all over the site the artists realised long held dreams and were inspired by the bleakness and remoteness of the site. Drawing on the history of the village the artists' stated intent on completion of the project was to populate the Ghostvillage with the art and characters that it deserved.
